In Channel Manager
1. Add the new rate plan/rate code have to be added in the Channel Manager.
In Nitesoft
2. Go to 'Units & Rates>Channel Mangement' and click on the pen icon at name of the Channel Manager row.
3. Click 'Rate plan mapping' icon at the top of the page.
4. At top right of the page there is a dropdown 'add: Offer' select the offercode you want to map or select 'BAR' if you want to map to the current BAR-rate. Click '+' icon after the dropdown to add the new mapping.
Please note that the Channel Manager may not support all rules that you can apply for the offer in Nitesoft (for example Minimal Total Rate rule will not be sent to Channel Manager, and in some case Minimum length of stay is not supported either and these rules needs to be configured in the Channels directly).
5. The mapping will be added at the end of the page. Fill in:
Rate Option: (optional) The Nitesoft Rate Option that you want the imported reservations to get, usually Standard or Non-refundable. If you send rates for this mapping any price adjustment of the Rate option will be added/subtracted to the Rate before it is sent to Channel Manager.
Booking rule set: should be Default. This is rule can be used if you want to manage availabilty separately for different channels, for example if you want threshold 1 for all channels except one
Default: Check most common rate, this field is the rate plan that will be used in case no rate plan is matched the reservation imported from external channel.
Solitary: should be unchecked (only used by Google Hotel Centre integration, it means that the rate plan have the same price all days)
Reference: (required) This is the rate plan id in the Channel Manager, this is the field that will map it to corresponding rate in the channels. For YieldPlanet and BookVisit the values will be selectable in a dropdown. For Siteminder and Staah you have to fill in the id as a text value.
And 'Save' in top right corner.
6: Click 'Rate mapping' icon at the top of the page.
7. At the top of the page, after 'add:' fill in:
First dropdown should always be 'External'.
Second dropdown is the room category you want to add the mapping for, you can select '(all-mapped)' as room type to add a mapping for all room types at once.
Third dropdown select the Rate plan mapping you added at previous page.
Click '+' icon after the dropdown to add the new mapping .
8. The mapping will be added at the end of the page, fill in:
Guest Count: If you send prices to the channels it is important to select the Guest Count that corresponds to the price you want to send. If you only receive reservations on a rate you can choose any Guest Count. 'Default' option will send the rate for 2 Adults, except for rooms that only allow 1 Adult for them the 1 adult rate will be sent.
StayLength: If checked minimum and maximum length of stay settings will be sent to this Rate plan (note that all Channels do not support this function).
Availabilty: If checked availabilty will be sent to this Rate plan.
Restriction: If checked restriction rules (e.g. Close outs) will be sent to this Rate plan (note that all Channels do not support this function).
Pick up length: If checked pick up length rules will be sent to this Rate plan (note most Channels Managers do not support this function).
Rate: If checked rates will be sent to this Rate plan.
And 'Save' in top right corner.
