Setup

Onslip will provide the follwing info required for the setup:

Authkey, Hawk-id

Authkey, API key

UserId

CompanyAlias

OnslipPaymentId for payment method 'Nitesoft tab transfer'


Hotel staff will provide an Account number for the tab transfer between Nitesoft and Onslip.

When a tab is transferred it will be "paid" with this account in Onslip and the tab will be added to the reservation in Nitesoft on the same account. If the tab is closed and the day is closed in Onslip on the same day as the transfer (which we recommend) this account will have net value 0 in accounting each day.

Nitesoft team will configure this account on Nitesoft side.

Onslip team will setup a payment method called 'Nitesoft tab transfer' and hotel staff need to add the same account number to this payment method.


Hotel staff need to all rooms to one table chart in Onslip, the rooms in onslip should have the name "Prefix Room number" for example prefix is always "Room " and room number is exactly the same number as in Nitesoft. For example "Room 101", "Room 102" etc.

1. After adding products to cart click options menu in top right corner and select 'Save Tab'.

2. Find the guests room in Room Table chart. If guest is checked in there should already be an open tab with the guest name on the room. See Room 103 in image. Click the room in the list.

3. Select the already existing tab in the list.


4. You can repeat above steps to add more items to the tab.

5. To close the tab in Onslip, go to the options menu in top right corner and select 'Get Tab'.

6. You will now be able to see the total amount you added to the tab in the Tab list. Click the tab in the list.

7. Click 'Charge' button.

8. If tab was successfully transferred to Nitesoft the tab will already have payment made with method "Nitesoft tab transfer" and Remaing Amount is 0.

9. Click 'Finish' in top right corner to close the tab.

10. In Nitesoft you will be able to see the transferred products by the room you transferred it too.

Please note

You should never use "Nitesoft tab" transfer as a payment method in Onslip. This is only used by the integration.


In Step 9 above it is important that you just click 'Finish'. Do not use the 'Select payment method' button.

If you would use 'Select payment method' enter amount and manually select "Nitesoft tab transfer" Onslip thinks the tab is overpaid and will give change to the customer. This will create error of the amounts between the "Nitesoft tab transfer" and "Cash" account in the Onslip Accouting data.
