In Out of order mangement all non-completed out of orders are listed. 

A room cannot be booked on the dates if it is marked as out of order on these dates.

A room cannot be checked in if there is a non-completed out of order for this room (Note that even if date of the out of order itself is passed the room cannot be checked in until someone verifies that the problem is fixed).


View or Change an out of order 

1. Go to 'Housekeeping>Out of order Mangement' find the out of order in the list and click the room number in 'Unit' column to be able to edit it.

2. Edit in same way as when creating new (see below).



To complete an out of order

1. Find the out of order in the list and press 'Remove' or 'Complete' link in 'Action' column, the room will now be availble for booking again even if the date of the out of order is not yet passed.


To Create an out of order

1. Press 'Schedule Out of order' on top right corner of 'Out of Order Mangement' page.

2. Fill in the 'Since' and 'Until' dates, the room will only be blocked out in the selected date interval and available for booking at all other dates. If you want out of order to be for all future dates, check the 'Indefinite' checkbox.

If someone has already booked the room on the selected days these reservations have to be moved to other rooms before you can create the out of order.

3. Select the room that should be blocked out in 'Unit' dropdown.

4. Fill in the 'Reason' for the out of order.

5. 'Save'.

To Create an out of order from Grid

1. Mark the date and unit you want to create the out of order for in the grid.

2. A panel will open to the left of the screen.

3. Check 'Create out of orders' checkbox, fill in 'Reason' and press 'Save'.
