1. Go to 'Administration'>'Guest Messages'.

2. Click 'New' in top right corner.

3. Fill in fields like this:

Type: should be 'email'

Trigger: should be 'on confirmation'

Recipient: select which mail adress the link should be sent to, for ex. reservation contact

Control: should be 'manually'

Condition: should be 'true (unconditional)'

Priority: can be 'normal'

Vary for: optional, can be used if you want diffrent messages depending on the target group of the reservation

Attach: optional, if you want something attached to the template

Name: enter the name that will be displayed in the drop down list

Multiple delivieries: should be checked, allows you to send this message more the one time for the same reservation

Fail if no recipient: should be checked, generates an error in case the person you try to send to does not have an email adress

Lock room on send: should normally not be checked

Subject: Enter the subject of the mail


Then enter the mail text in the text editor.

If you support more then one languge you have to fill in translations of the mail for each language, you do this by clicking the different languages above the subject field.


4.  To insert the payment link in the mail you need to add link to a placeholder.

Write the text you want to link, for example. 'To pay click here'.

Mark the text you want to add the link to, for example the word 'here' and click the link icon.

5. In the link window fill in:

Link Type: URL

Protocal: <other>

URL*: {{PaymentLink}}


URL has to be the text {{PaymentLink}} exactly, make sure you don't add any space inside the field.

Click 'Ok' to continue.


6. Save the template in top right corner.

7. To send the template from a reservation select the template in the Guest message drop down at the end of the reservation and press 'Send".
