As Nitesoft has grown over time we see a need to restructure the menu to make it more logical and userfriendly.

The menus contains the same fuctions as before but they can have changed name or position in the menu.


Check-in/Check-out got quick access icon

In Front Office, Summary is moved to fast access icon, see image.


Reservations menu is removed

Grid and New Reservation can, as before be access by fast access icons above the menu.

The list views are replaced by Reservation Search, see next paragraph.


Reservation Search replaces the reservations list

The four list views All Reservations, My Preliminary reservations, All preliminary reservations, Cancelled reservations in Reservations menu are removed. The function is replaced by Reservation Search which you can access by putting the cursor in the Search field and pressing enter or in Front Office>Reservation Search. Customers are moved to separate menu item 

Individuals , Companies, Blacklisting and Travel Agencies are moved from Front Office to new menu Customers.


Changes to Reports

There are two new submenus in Reports Reservations and Accounting.

All accounting related reports and functions are moved to a new submenu in Reports called Accounting.

Payments, Invoices, Sales Report, Sales Ledger, Deposit Ledger, Account Subotals, Balances Account Summary and Accounting Export are moved to this new submenu.

Period Report, Reservations Report, Reservations Details and Revenue Overview are moved to new submenu Reservations.


New top menu Booking engine

There is a new menu item Booking engine and menu items Package Avertisments, Promotion Advertisments, Extra advertisments, Nitesoft Loyal Advertisments and Advertisments Order have been moved from Site administration to this new menu.


Name changes

Administration is renamed Units & Rates.

Rates & Agreements have been renamed to Agreements & Offers.

Site Adminstration is renamed to Administration.

The report previously called SCB Report in Sweden and Loding Report in other countries is renamed to Loding Report (SCB) for all.

I Front Office the page that before was called Conference or Activity Summary (which is only available for hotels with Conference enabled) is renamed to Conference check-in/out.

In Housekeeping, for customers using Advanced housekeeping Today have been renamed to Cleaning schedule and Housekeeping schedule have been renamed to Cleaners schedule.

In Site adminstration, Messages is renamed to Messages Log.


Other moved menu items

Allotments used to be in Reservations but is now moved to Agreements & Offers.

Rate Options have been moved from Rates & Agreements to Units & Rates.
