1. Access 'Alerts' by clicking the waring triangle-icon at the top of the menu.

If you have alerts that are due today you will see the number of alerts in a small red circle on top of the icon.

Hotel can also have enabled that alerts appear as popups, in that case you will see all alerts due today as a popup in the bottom right corner when you login.


2. The alerts will be shown in a list, by default you only see alerts sent to your department or user, and that are not 'Done' or 'Deleted'.


The list will show the following information: 

Type: Predfined values that can be configured for each hotel. Alerts of 'No-show' type will be generated by the system in case a reservation is not checked in.

Title: The title of the alert. For alerts created from a reservation the title will automatically be # and the booking number, for alerts created from the 'Housekeeping>Room Status' list the title of the alert will automatically be @ and the room number.

Description: Description of the task or reminder.

Action: Date when the task or reminder should show up.

Customer: If the alert is linked to a reservation the customer name will show in the list.

Arrival: If the alert is linked to a reservation the arrival date of the reservation will show in the list. 

Actions: checkmark-icon to mark alert as done, pen-icon to edit alert (see point 5 below) and trashcan- to delete alert.


3. In top right corner you have the following functions:

Create new alert: See point 5 below.

Filter: To select which alerts you want to see in the list. See point 4 below.

Print: To print the list.

Settings: Here you have the option to 'Don't show popup alerts'. If you have popup alerts enabled this allow you to turn it off for a specific device.

Options menu: Here you can select to show only alerts that are 'Done' and alerts that are only linked to bookings.


4. If you click the filter-icon a panel will open to the left of the screen. Here you can select which alerts you want to see in the list.

The options you can filter on are:

Form date: Will only show alerts with receiving date later than the from date.

To date: Will only show alerts with receiving date earlier than the from date. 

Types: Predfined values that can be configured for each hotel. 

Statuses: Pending (not done and not deleted alerts), Acknowledged (done alerts) or Deleted.

Receiving departments: Filter on alerts to a specific Departments.

Recievers: Filter on alerts to a specific users. 

Created  by: The user that created the alert.

Text: Search for text in Title and Description.

System alerts: Show alerts created by the system.

Hidden alerts: Show alerts that where hidden. If you have alerts popups enabled you can select to hide alerts on the computer or device you are using, the hidden alerts check box allow you to see the hidden alerts again.

Booking alerts: If you check this the list will only show alerts that are linked to a reservation.



Click 'Save' to apply your filter options. Click 'Reset' if you want to go back to the default filtering.

5.  If you create a new alert of edit existing alert you have the following fields you can change:

Type: (optional) Predefined values that can be configured for each hotel. 

Title: The title of the alert. 

Receive Date: Date when the task or reminder should show up. 

Description: (optional) Description of the task or reminder. 

Receiving Department: The Department that should see the alert, you can chose one or many.

Receiver: The Users that should see the alert, you can chose one or many.


Add information and click 'Save' to change or create an alert.


6. It is also possible to create an alert from a reservation, by clicking '+' icon by the Alerts section. In this case the title of the alert will automatically be # and the booking number, this tag will link the alert to the reservation.

7. And it is also possible to create an alert from the Room Status list in Housekeeping, by clicking 'bell' icon in the Alerts column of the list. In this case the title of the alert will automatically be @ and the room number, this tag will link the alert to the room in the Housekeeping Room Status  list.
