Nitesoft

This new version of Nitesoft focus primarily on improved functionality to handle groups and simplify payments for reservations that are invoiced or where the cost is split between many payers.

In additon to the list below we have also made updates to improve usabilty, stablity and performance.

For some of the functions below you will find links to more detailed articles, remember that you can search in all available articles in the Support widget (the "?"-icon) in Nitesoft.

Extras Package

An Extra Package is a group of extras that can be added to a reservation as one item. It can unlike offers be added to the Reservation itself and does not necessarily need to be tied to a room.

Changes to Guest Messages

Ability to attach files to mail templates was added. Read more here and here.

Abilty to have diffrent sender adresses for diffrent mail templates was added.

The new sender adress is added in "Administration">"Guest Messages" in the mail template like this:

Improvements to Groups and Blocks

Add multiple rooms to existing reservation

From "Add Room" function in the reservation it is now possible to select many rooms at a time.

Usabilty when allocating a block reservation

When you select a room category to add to the block the preselected amount will by default be all available rooms in the category.

If you have added rooms to the block these rooms will be deducted in the Unit Category dropdown.

There is a Total row displaying sum of all selected unit categories.

Improved page search

Page search have been added to Summary, Agreements, Packages, Promotion rates, Loyal codes, Extras, Extra packages.

If you click ctrl+F on these pages the top search field will switch to page search mode.

You can also switch to page search by clicking the search icon to the left in the search field.

When you enter text in the search field it will filter the lists on the pages and only display rows with matching result.

To go back to normal quick reservation search when you are finished with the page search you click the page icon in the search field.

In other pages ctrl+F search will work the same way as before.

Changes to Payments and Invoices

Pay for room in Arrival and Departure lists.

There is a new column "Room Balance" availble in Summary. It can be enabled by clicking the eye icon in top right corner and add check "Room Balance".

The column will display only the cost that is associated to the specific room (unlike Balance which shows the total outstanding balance of the reservation).

If you click the amount of a room the Payment created will automatically only select the cost of the choosen room.

Hide already paid items

Now when you create a payment the items that are already fully paid will be hidden from the list.

If you need to see them (for example if you are refunding something) you can click the filter icon in the top right corner and check "Show fully paid" and click "Apply", then you will see a complete list of all items in the reservation.

There is also a new column "Paid/Invoiced" which shows the total paid+invoiced amount of the item.

Pay for invoice

Now there is an icon that marks that an invoice is not paid.

If you click this icon it will create a payment for the invoice.

If you have unpaid invoices in the reservation you will get suggestion to pay for the when you create a new payment.

If you want to pay for an invoice, select it by marking the checkbox by the row and then click the "check" icon in top right corner to continue.

If you don't want to pay for it click the "check" icon in top right corner to continue without paying for any invoice.

Pay for Offers

If you have offers consisting of many items you can more easily select them by clicking the "Offers" tab.

Here the offers will be displayed as one row per offer.

Additional footer i Grid

A new footer were you can see all availble rooms regardless of the rooms you selected to see in the grid, read more here.

Customer Loyalty Category

For Individual profiles diffrent icons can be added to mark the type of customer. Icons will be visible in arrival/departure list and grid and in the profile.

Changes to Reports

Sales Report

The 3 sections in Sales Report have now been grouped into two sections that sums all payments or all revenues.

The original sections can still be viewed as detailed information at the end of the report.

Added option to select if you want to see result gruped by total, month or by day.

Unit category deactivation

Ability to deactivate unit categories and view and restore inactive unit categories.

Nitesoft Cashier

Add payment methods to kiosk

Ability to add additonal payment methods to the cashier; e.g. swish or giftcard. 

The added payment method will work in the same way as cash payment method, the payments will be imported in Nitesoft with the account number you selected when the payment method was added.
