By default all reservations booked in online part will be booked to current BAR rate and prepayment is required.

To change this behaviour or add addtional price options you can use rate option functionality.


1. In 'Units & Rates'>'Rate Options' you can see the rate options added to your hotel.

2. Click 'New' in top right corner to add a rate option. Click pen icon to edit existing one.

3. Fill in fields (see below) and press 'Save' in top right corner.

The fields are:

Enable tick to make the Rate Option active.

Name Name of the rate option.

Rate adjustment If this option is more expensive or discounted from BAR-rate. If it should be a higher price write +add on price. For example +100 or +10%, where +100 will add 100 to the current BAR rate and +10% will add 10%  to the current BAR rate. In the same way write -discount if you want a lower price, for example -100 and -10%. Write -0 if you want current BAR rate to be used.

Adjust each day or hour Tick this box if you want the rate adjustment to be added depending on time booked. This will apply for fixed price rate adjustments. For example if rate adjustment is: -100 and this is ticked it will lower rate with -100 per day for rooms and -100 per hour if you use Conference rooms booked per hour.

Mandatory payment type Options are: (none), Receipt, Invoice, Ticket and Payment Link.

(none): Reservation can be made without prepayment

Receipt: Payment is required at the time of booking

Invoice: An invoice will be generated and attached to the Confirmation mail

Ticket: Customer will have to register a credit card in order to book (not all payment providers support this function)

PaymentLink: This will generate a payment link that can added to the Confirmation mail 

Mandatory payment adjustment (of total cost) The amount required to be paid at the time of booking. -0 means that full amount has to be paid. You can also write a fixed amount, 500 means to 500 has to be paid at the time of booking -90% means that customer have to pay 10% at the time of booking.

Apply for each unit Tick box this if the payment should be for each unit. For example if customer should pay 500 for each room booked.

Minimal/Maximal period Optional fields. This restrict the Rate Option to only be available for specific length of stay. For example this option should only be available if you make a reservation for more then 7 days. 

Minimal/Maximal pick up Optional fields. This restrict the Rate Option to only be available for specific pick up time. For example this option should only be available if you book more then 7 days before arrival.

Make reservation non-refundable If this check box if ticked the reservation will always add a cancellation cost in case it is cancelled or shortened.

Forbid combining with other rate options If this check box if ticked and customer adds another room to the reservation only the same rate option will be available.

Extend for entire stay when available partial time If the rate option is availble for some days of the selected days it will be applied to the entire room reservation.

Title The title visible to customer in online part (press flag icons so switch between translations for each language)

Description The description visible to customer in online part (press flag icon to switch language)

Enable for all the following unchecked offers and disable for checked If this check box is ticked the rate option will be enabled by default for all BAR-levels and agreement/offercodes and any rate that should be excluded has to be checked in the list of rates below it. If this check box is not selected you have to select each rate it should apply to in the list of rates.
