1. Go to 'Agreements & Offers>Promotion rates' and click 'Add new promotion rate'.


2. Fill in fields:

Title: This is the title of the offer, this title will be visible for the guest.

Code: (optional) This is the code that the guest will use to book the offer. It will be selected automatically by system if you don't select the code yourself.

Bookable from-Bookable to: Which days the guest is allowed to book a new reservation, default is from today until end of year.

Default segment: Any reservations made with the code will get this Target group.

Availabilty: If you want the code avilable for guests to use in the booking engine set 'Bookable online'.

Stay from-stay to: Which days the guest can make the reservation for, default is from today until end of year.

Minimal period: Should be 1 if guest can book one or more days.

Maximal period: Can for example be 999 if guest can book as many days as he wants.

Black out dates: (optional) You can add stay dates when it should not be possible to book with this code.

Min pick up-Max pick up: (optional) If the code should only be available a specified number of days before arrival.

Level: By default 1, this means that the offer cannot be combined with other offers. Read more about levels here.

Days of Week: By default guests can book all days of week.

Minimal Required Total Rate: (optional) If this field has an amount the customer will only be allowed to book the promotion in case the total value of the reservation they are making is higher then the amount.

Don't combine with other offer and BAR: If checked this offer cannot be booked in the same reservation as rooms booked without this offer, and it cannot be booked together with another offer or rate chain.

Description: (optional) internal description/comments field for hotel staff.

Ignore Booking Rule Restriction: If checked the offer will ignore restrictions for example it will be bookable even if days are 'closed out'. It can be used if hotel only want to sell offers, not rooms for some time period.

3. Select the rooms that the offer should be available for in the dropdown at the bottom left corner and click '+' icon to add the rooms. 


If you want to use a 'Rate Plan' (reuse a rate plan for many offers) or set a 'Flat rate' (the same discount for all rooms) read more here.  

The 'cog wheel' icon is for pricing settings. Here you can switch between adding the rates including or excluding VAT, you select between adding price for all guest combinations or adding a fixed price addition for each guest. 'Per Guest' pricing can for example be used if you want an offer a cost of 100 EUR per adult and 50 EUR per child. The 'Include extas price to rate' setting determines if the cost for extras you add in the offer are added on top of the price set for the room or if it is included in that price.  

The 'calendar' icon is for setting up seasonal offers. So if you want the prices to vary over time, read more here.


4. Click the pen-icon to enter the price or discount.

5. Add a fixed price, a fixed disocunt or a relative discount. For example '1000' means room cost 1000 per night, '-100' means rooms gets 100 disocunt for each night and '-10%' means that the room get a 10% discount for all nights. Click 'Done' after entering the price or discount.


6. Select extras you want to add in the promotion and click '+' sign to add them.


It's also possible to configure that extras is only added to a specific type of category, this is done by clicking the 'cog wheel icon' that's show to the left of the extra dropdown. This can be used for example if you want guest to be able to book room and parking on the same offer code but only include extras for the room

For each extra in a promotion rate you can also click the 'cog wheel icon' after you have added it to the promotion to override original settings of the extra. For example to change the price. Another example is if you have a 2 day promotion and want to add 3 course dinner on day 1 and 2 course dinner on day 2 you can click the cog wheel and change the time of the extras to appear on the two different days. 

7. 'Save' in top right corner. You will now be able to use the code by entering it in the 'code' field when you make a reservation or by 'Add offer code' button in an existing reservation.
