Extras types are used to be able to filter out lists with extras of a specific type.


Extras types are configured when creating new extras


The available types are: 

Extras: Should be checked if the product should be available in Nitesoft. Should almost always be selected.

Kiosk: Should be checked if the product should be available in Nitesoft Cashier.

Kitchen: To filter out meals and food and beverages in the lists.

Inventory: Should be selected if the product should be limited, read more here. For example if the hotel only has two bikes to rent out.

External: This type is only used to link extras to other integrated systems.

Equipment: To filter out equipment in the lists .

Spa: To filter out spa products in the lists.

Conference: To filter out confrerence related products in the lists. 

Housekeeping: To filter out housekeeping releated products in the lists. This will also allow to show these products in 'Housekpeeping>Room' Status list. 

Reception: To filter out reception releated products in the lists.


The lists where you can filter on extras types are Extra report and Planning list: Products.
