Add new Rate Plan

1.  Go to 'Units & Rates>Rate Plans'.

2. Click '+' icon to add a new Rate Plan.

3. Write Rate Plan name.


4. Fill in rates. Read more about how to enter the rates in "Change a Rate Plan" below.

5. 'Save' in top right corner.


Change a Rate Plan

1.  Go to 'Units & Rates>Rate Plans' here you will see all your existing Rate Plans.

2. To the left you will always see the RACK rate, this is the rate you gave the room when you created it.

Light blue rate means that it is a relative rate, blue grey rate means that it is a fixed rate.

 

3.  Find the level you want to edit, and click on the rate you want to edit.

It will open a panel where you will see current setting to the left. 

For each room category you can enter the rate that should be associated to the Rate Plan.

It is possible to enter a fixed rate (200 EUR) or a relative rate which can be either a fixed amount from RACK (-20 EUR or +20 EUR) or a percentage (-10% or +10%) added to the RACK rate.

For the rate and room you are currently editing the icon with the three lines will show you the RACK rate and current discount if you have a relative rate or just the current fixed rate if it is a fixed rate.


When you are done with the editing click 'Save' this will automatically update the rates of all future dates that have this BAR level.

4. For each Rate plan there is three icons at the top.

'pen-icon' to edit the name of the Rate plan.

'calender-icon' to add different rates for different weekdays, see step 5.

'X' to remove a BAR-level.


5. Clicking the calendar icon will open new columns with weekdays, where you can add a specific rate for a weekday.

The rate is calculated on top of the BAR rate you are adding it to.

If you have added weekly rate the icon will be black and have a check mark, if you have not added any weekly rates it will be grey and have a + sign inside.


6.  If you want different rates depending on the number of guests who stay in the room click the arrow icon next to the room category name. Here you can add a rate for each combination. If no value is present the room will cost the default rate for this combination. Relative rates are calulated from the default rate of the level.


If you want to use different prices for different capacities it is recommended that you add this difference to the RACK rate and then use relative prices for the BAR levels. This way you only have to add a releative default rate for each BAR-level and the add on rate for each capacity will follow according to the RACK rate.

The '+' icon will let you add a new BAR level

The 'eye' icon opens display settings in left panel

Display settings

The first to fields in display settings 'BAR level name' and 'Unit category name' allow you to filter out BAR levels and/or specific catgories.

In 'Rate display' dropdown you can select if you want to see 'Absolute rate' or 'Relative rate'.

'Absolute rate' is default setting, when selected you will see the resulting rate in the table.

If 'Relative rate' is selected you will instead see the value you have entered so for fixed rate you see fixed rate and for relative rate you see the +-amount or +-% value.
