Communication
Two-way communication via WhatsApp and email
Guests can now reply to messages sent from Nitesoft, and their responses appear directly in the system.
- Support for incoming messages via WhatsApp and email
- Continue conversations directly from the message list
Guest message improvements
New placeholders, conditions, recipient options, and attachments for more flexible and automated guest communication.
- New placeholders: BookingChannel, PayerFirstName, PayerLastName, ExpectedCheckIn, ExpectedCheckOut
- New conditions: Invoice exported, Is credit invoice, Payment for invoice, Payment method is, Payment for multiple reservations, Verification window between
- New recipient: Booking contact and invoice contact — sends a copy to both
- New attachments: Recipient invoices, Recipient payment
- Improved context hints in the send view (e.g. unit number, payment transaction)
- WhatsApp: option to force sending a fallback SMS
- New option: restrict sending to trigger date only, ignoring time restriction on following days
- New configuration: ReplyTo email address in email configuration
Invoicing and payments
Show discounts on receipts and invoices
Discounts can now be displayed as a separate line on receipts and invoices. Enabled under receipt and invoice settings (the cog icon in the toolbar on the payment page).
Automatic rounding of invoice amounts
Invoice amounts with decimals can now be rounded automatically. Configured via the InvoiceRoundingMode parameter in the behaviour configuration.
- None: No rounding (default)
- Enable: Rounding can be enabled manually per invoice
- Always: Rounding is applied automatically to all invoices
Printing options for invoices and receipts
Two new printing options to force product listing on invoices and receipts:
- Show inclusive products: Lists included products
- Show offer products: Lists offer products
Manual sending of invoices
Invoices can now be sent manually directly from the invoice editor.
Subscription links
Ability to create subscription links — similar to payment links but do not charge immediately. Instead they create a subscription that can be charged at a later date.
Virtual card charging for Agoda
Support for automatic charging of virtual cards from Agoda has been implemented. Read more about how automatic charging of virtual cards works in Nitesoft here.
Booking rules
Rebuilt booking rules system
- Booking rules are now administered via rule sets linked directly to booking channels. Existing rules are carried over automatically — no manual reconfiguration required.
- Rule sets linked directly to channels (no longer via Public/External logic)
- Same rule set can be used for multiple channels
- New Restriction policy parameter per function: Channel restrictions, Intranet restrictions, No restrictions
- New page for managing booking rules under UNIT & RATES → Booking rules
- BAR Management page is hidden and will be removed in a future release
- Override rule set per rate plan in channel management is still available

- New option to ignore booking rule restrictions and availability for Promotion Rates.
- Ability to specify number of nights to skip and number of nights to discount — enables offers such as 'buy 2 nights, get 1 at a discounted rate'.
Automatic tourist tax (or other applicable fee)
Tourist tax is now added automatically to all room reservations for customers with the feature enabled.
- Tax is calculated as a percentage of the room amount excluding VAT
- Applies to the first X nights of the stay
- Added as a separate extra ('Tourist tax') on the booking
- Configurable parameters: product, percentage, number of days
- The tax can be removed manually from a booking and re-added if needed
Extras
- Extras can now be configured with availability by date, period, and day of the week — the same way as offers. Configured under UNIT & RATES → Products.
- Extras with the Price once option are added to all days of the booking but priced only on the first day.
- Extra advertisements can now be associated with unit preferences, making it possible to display advertisements only for units with specific preferences.
Self check-in
Several improvements to the self check-in flow:
- Support for payments via online card terminals
- QR code leading the guest to WBE to book additional rooms or parking
- Upgrade step when an upgrade room is available
- Option to extend stay via self-service
- Read access card — if the card expires before the end of the booking, the guest is offered the option to rewrite it
Mobile Concierge
- Guests no longer need to create an account to use Mobile Concierge. A unique link is generated automatically per reservation.
- Widgets can now be bound to guest context, displayed for the current reservation, and linked to apartment and unit categories. Enables display of relevant information per apartment or booking.
- Guest messages configured in Nitesoft can now be delivered directly in the MC portal, as a complement to email and SMS.
- Widget management and overview in Nitesoft has been improved for easier configuration.
Housekeeping
- In Housekeeping 2.0, A new task is now always created automatically when a room is uncleaned.
- A new 'Do Not Clean' status has been added to the standard cleaning list.
Booking management
A new option to automatically extend a booking to the last bookable date. Enabled per unit within the booking.
- Nitesoft automatically attempts to resize the booking to the current last bookable date
- The system automatically attempts to extend qualifying bookings on the 1st of each month
New option to undo a no-show marking for all units in a booking.
Reservations can now be filtered by automatic invoicing rule in the booking search.
Reporting and statistics
- Period report: new option to include late cancelled items
- Period report: target group filtering added
- Offer statistics: new option to exclude extras
- Profile pages (Travel Agency, Company, Individual): filter by role (Contact, Payer, Guest) on Reservation History and Reservation Statistics tabs
- Excel export for Reservation History and Reservation Statistics on profile pages
Grid and interface
- Rows for units with specific preferences can now be highlighted in the grid — in the same way as hotel events.
- When encoding a card from the Front Office Summary or booking editor, you can now choose whether to replace or duplicate the existing card.
Integrations
Fisafe integration
Nitesoft now supports integration with Fisafe.
Power BI integration
Nitesoft now supports integration with Microsoft Power BI. The integration enables analysis and visualisation of booking and operational data directly in Power BI. Get in touch for more information on how to set up the integration for your property.
