Nitesoft

This version of Nitesoft contains new functions, integrations, and enhancements as listed below. It also includes a number of minor corrections and fixes.


New and Changed functions summary

  • Several additions to Promotion rates, for example setting price per guest, setting total rate including extras and setting rates excluding VAT.
  • New function to sell extras online for specific room categories only.
  • Several additons to existing functionality for example in Reports and Guest Messages.
  • MySafety cancellation insurance integration.


New functions in Promotion Rates

New option for setting price for a promotion rate by number of guests or excluding VAT

When adding rates for a promotion rate you can click the 'cog wheel icon' by the rates to go to the rate settings. Here you can switch between adding the rates including or excluding VAT, you select between adding price for all guest combinations or adding a fixed price addition for each guest. 'Per Guest' pricing can for example be used if you want an offer to cost 100 EUR per adult and 50 EUR per child. The 'Include extas price to rate' setting detmines if the cost for extras you add in the offer are added on top of the price set for the room or if it is included in that price. Editing extras for a specific offer

For each extra in a promotion rate you can now click the 'cog wheel icon' after you have added it to the promotion to override original settings of the extra. For example if you have a 2 day promotion and want to add 3 course dinner on day 1 and 2 course dinner on day 2 you can click the cog wheel and change the time of the extras to appear on the two different days. 

It's also possible to configure that extras is only added to a specific type of category, this is done by clicking the 'cog wheel icon' that's show before you add the extra to the promotion. This can be used for example if you want guest to be able to book room and parking on the same offer code but only include extras for the room. Read more about creating promotion rates here.


Add a flat discount for all units

If you want to build a promotion that uses the same discount for all your room categories (e.g. 10% discount) you can now use the flat rate function instead of adding the discount for each unit category. It can be useful for propeties with many room categories. Read more here.


Have only offers available for some time period

It is now possible to only sell offers for some time period. This is done by selecting the 'Ignore booking rule restriction' option when creating the promotions, and then add 'close outs' in 'Bar Mangement> Advanced> Restrictions' on the days you only want to sell offers. This will block out rooms from being sold while still allowing to book offers. Read more about creating promotion rates here.


Allow to link extra to specific unit category or tag in Booking Engine

Some extras may only be relevant for specific unit categories, examples: are parking spaces in different locations, cleaning and linen if that is not included in all unit types or dog fee if dogs are only allowed in specific rooms. When you create the extra advert you can now select 'Unit Restrictions' where you can limit which categories or tags the extras adverts will be available for. Changes to Reports

Compare historical date in Period Report

'Compare Booking flow' has been replaced by 'Compare to Historical date'. 'Compare Booking flow' was limited to only comparing to a fix time back in time for example 1 year ago from today, 'Compare to Historical date' will show what the report looked like on exactly the selected date.

So for example if you want to know how many reservations you have for next year at new years, you can search for:

'From': 240101, 'To':241341 and 'Compare to Historical date':231341 

and you can get this data from any year back in time.

Unit category selection in Reservation Report and Reservation details

Added abiltity to select Unit Category or tags (if hotel have any configured) in Reservations Report and Reservations Details.


New triggers and conditions is Custom report

New condition in Custom report "Any payment in reservation by" which can be used to find all reservations that have at least one payment of a certain payment method. Read more about Custom Report here.


Changes to Guest Messages

The trigger 'On paid by link' has been replaced by trigger 'On payment' and condition 'Paid by link'. This allow to build new guest messages that for example send out a receipt if a credit card is automatically charged.

There is a new trigger 'On invoice' that sends out an invoice when it is created.

It's now possible to send a guest message to all contacts of a company profile or invoice company profile, can be used for example if a you want invoices to be sent to all invoice contacs of a profile.


Changes to Advanced housekeeping

For customers that have Advanced housekeeping enabled.

Housekeeping comments

It is possible to show Housekeeping comments in housekeeping task of the room. Comment will be moved to new room in case room of the reservation is switched. Enable 'Comment Areas' to enable this feature, read more about 'Comment Areas here.


Cleaner can change order of his/her schedule

Cleaner can change order of cleaning in his/her own schedule. In 'My Schedule' click 'edit' change order of tasks by drag n'drop and click 'Save'.


Rolling Rules

Enabled function to setup restrictions to vary over time. The parameters that can be varied is 'Restriction', 'Pick-up' and 'Stay length'. For example 'Stay length' can be used if you want to setup a rule to only allow reservations made for 7 days if guest book more than 1 month in advance. 'Restriction' out can be for example be used if you want close reservation at 19 PM every day, Pick-up if you for example want to close reservation 24h before arrival every day. Fixes/improvements

  • I is possible to add seller of a reservation. In order to make lists and reports in Custom report depending on seller. The field will be added here in the reservation. Please contact support if you want to enable this function.
  • The max image size for rooms, extras and offers is 20 MB, now it is possible to upload many large images at the same time. 
  • Abilty to export company profile list, induvidual profile list and travel agency list to excel.
  • Room status list it is possible so see both number of arriving and departuring guests. You find the function by 'eye icon' in top right corner, select 'Guest details' and click 'Apply'.
  • Inventory services can now be connected to lock system, this can be used for example to access parking spaces.


Integrations

New MySafety insurance integration

MySafety is an insurance company that offers cancellation insurance for hotels, read more about MySafety here.

The integration allow to sell cancellation insurance in the booking engine and in case guest cancels later than the cancellation policy MySafety will refund the customer. Please contact support@nitesoft.se for more information.


Update of Onslip cashier integration

When a reservation is checked-in it will send name of customer to Onslip so hotell can verify from onslip that the guest is staying in the room he/she says they are. And tabs that are transferred will automaically be closed in onslip when guest checks out.
