Nitesoft

This version of Nitesoft contains new functions and enhancements as listed below. It also includes a number of minor corrections as well as upgrades of code.


New and Changed functions

Mark events in Grid

It is now possible to add a color in the grid to mark that there is an event in town. Read more here. 


Changes to Grid for conference reservations

If you have checked 'This is an Event' in a reservation, e.g. a conference or a wedding, and you selected time for Start and End in 'Reservation View', this information will be visible when you hoover on the reservation in the grid.  


You can also select to see who is responsible for the event in the grid. Click 'Legends' icon in top right corner of the grid and select 'Event Resposible' in 'Show Guests Name' drop down.


Different colors for Workflow Phases

Accounting of Longstay Reservations

Reservations longer than 30 days can use a service account with corresponding VAT account.

The account is added to the Unit Category. 

If account is set for Long Stay Service any reservation that is longer than 30 days will use this account.


Enhancements

  • In Extra Report a 'Total' section and 'Group by month" option was added. The 'Total' section is added first in the report and sums the specification below. 
  • Offer Statistics added export to excel function, like this: 
  • In Block booking you now see the sum of how many rooms you booked for each day: 
  • In 'BAR Levels' and 'Rate Plans' use 'Display settings' to show either relative price (-10%, -15 EUR etc.) or absolute price (125 EUR).
    'Display settings' and select between 'Relative price' or 'Absolut price'.
  • A placeholder selector for creating sms-templates.
  • A 'Warning!' that an imported payment method needs to be linked to correct account number is now visible in all accounting reports: 
  • An 'Extras' has a new option to specify what day it is offered, typically in a Promotion Rate over several days. 'Add New Extra' to set a date and time.
  • Improved grouping of identical items on receipts and invoices.


Nitesoft Cashier

Open price

It is now possible to set a price for products in the cashier at the time of the purchase. Read more here.

It is now possible to apply discounts to a product. Read more here.


Several Orders

You can have several open tabs, and then make the payment for them in any order. Read more here.


Enhancements

  • Grand Total will be reset to 0 every new year.
  • X- and Z-report will be in English if you choose English culture in 'Functions' 'Cultures'.


Add Ons

Changes to Online part

It is possible to add a displaying availabilty and lowest rate in the datepicker.

It is possible to show available offers after you have searched for specific dates. 

These features requires adjustments to online part so contact us if you are interested any of them.


Interfaces

Update of Fortnox integration.

If you have both Invoice and Voucher export:

After deployment there will be one Correcting voucher for each Invoice sent to Fortnox, instead of one per day. Each correcting voucher will be named after the invoice it belongs to, this is to make it easier to follow what the correcting vouchers do.

 

There have been issues with Fortnox rounding the total price of Invoices differently than the total amount we send, it is fixed in this version.


Update of Adyen integration

Update of Adyen to allow hotels to have one-page check out in the booking engine, i.e. customer enters card data on the same page as the contact information.

Register a card reference for a specific amount from booking engine or payment link. The card reference can now be used to charge at a later time, e.g. outstanding balances or penalties.

Register a card reference for recurring payments, e.g. monthly rent. For this option customer need to give consent that the card is saved for this purpose.


Update of Verifone integration.

The Yomani and VX820 terminals can now be updated to support contactless payments, we will contact all concerned hotels to schedule the update.


Direct2internet

We now have an integration to direct2internet online payment provider.


BookVisit

We now have an integration to BookVisit.
